My Secret Weapon to Get Back On Track

Do ever feel super motivated, moving full speed toward your goals and then BOOM, you get stuck?

Sometimes it feels like, one day everything is clear as spring water, and the next, nothing makes sense anymore.

It happens to all of us. Keep calm.

Here are a few questions I ask myself to switch my perspective and get me back on track:

Change your focus: Surround yourself with people who inspire and elevate you! Get moving! Get in touch with nature! Go help somebody! Celebrate your wins!

This will help you gain perspective and switch your focus to what’s available to you.
Where is your focus right now?

In Tony Robbins’ words: where your focus goes, energy flows! Allow some fresh energy to run through you, and readjust your focus to keep going!

What is this really about?: Often, lack of clarity is caused by avoiding something what is this ‘lack of clarity’ distracting you from?

You don’t have to have an answer. Understanding that your mind is trying to protect you will help switch your perspective from inside the fog to observing the fog. This allows you to consider the choice that you truly have and take a decision, instead of purely reacting to your feelings.

MOST IMPORTANTLY – Gratitude: Gratitude is like an energy drink you keep in your back pocket, that you can take a sip of any time you need to. Wanna know the best part? You can’t run out of it! The more you practice, the more supply you get.

What are you feeling ‘giddy’ for having in your life right now?

Friends, family, a roof, a conversation, your own creativity, delicious food, your favorite shade of nail polish, anything.

Turn off the judgment switch for a sec – How does gratitude feel right now?

Take a moment to FEEL IT! What can you create from that place? Take action from there!!

Gratitude has taken me out of the thickest of fogs. Take a sip!
