Following a spiritual awakening Louise Mazanti, Phd left an international academic career. After years of intellectual achievements she realised what she had compromised: her identity as a woman, her body, sexuality and spirituality.

She trained as a transpersonal psychotherapist in Psychosynthesis and specialised in Psychosexual Somatics® Therapy. She also studied esoteric wisdom, integral philosophy and shamanism, all of which informs her work.

She runs a private practice in London and works with clients worldwide, supporting them to regain personal power, embodiment, intimacy and sexual connection.

She is on faculty at the Esalen Institute in California, and teaches regularly around the world. With her husband Mike Lousada she has co-authored "Real Sex - Why Everything You Learned About Sex is Wrong", Hay House, 2017. And as a playful balance to the seriousness she features in the UK Channel 5 reality show show Make or Break? as a sex therapist, creating awareness about how we interact with each other to an audience that rarely make it to the therapy room.
